Description
Anklets for raptors with a relatively long tarsus, which is most broadwings and shortwings, and the smaller falcons. Suitable for flying weights from 4oz (110g) up to around 3.5lbs (1600g) flying weight. Includes eyelets and washers. The anklets are machine cut for consistency, and are greased ready for use, complete with eyelets. Small size anklets are made from genuine kangaroo.
You will need an eyelet plier tool with appropriate dies to fit the anklets.
When ordering, quote the sizes applying to the species shown below
- Female redtail, female ferruginous, very large female gos etc. order Extra large (eyelet size large)
- Female Harris, male redtail, female gos etc. order Large (eyelet size large)
- Male Harris, male gos etc. order Medium (eyelet size medium)
- Kestrel, spar, merlin, American kestrel etc. order Small (eyelet size small). Anklets are kangaroo in this size.
