Description
These hand-braided permanent flying jesses are one size, suitable for hawks and falcons between 1lb (500g) and around 3lbs (1600g) flying weight. They are 8.5″ (210mm) long, with a diameter of 1/8″ (3mm), and incorporate two loops at the top for attaching to the anklet, in a similar way to attaching a traditional jess (see images). The eyelet is left free to remove and replace the mews jesses. There is a small slit at the bottom end for attaching a clip for security between flights.
